Preparation of petroleum resin with low color and high softening point

The formation of impurities mainly in the flash process of high temperature and residence time is too long, resulting in petroleum resin oxidation, carbonation and the formation of carbides. To reduce the liquid level within the high temperature container control from 50% to 30%; increase the system N2 protection, reduce air contact; material exports to add high efficiency filters.
After strict control optimization program, volatility and impurity index has been significantly improved, the volatility content from 5% to 2% below the basic elimination of carbon dioxide impurities, the output of petroleum resin to achieve high-grade hot melt industry application requirements.
Through the optimization of polymerization conditions, the petroleum resin with low color, high softening point and good thermal stability was obtained. The aim of reducing the chromaticity of petroleum resin and weakening the softening point of petroleum resin was basically achieved. The optimum polymerization conditions are as follows: the amount of solvent is 70% ~ 80%, the content of toluene is 10% ~ 20%, the dosage of antioxidant is 0.3% ~ 0.5%, the feeding time is 30 ~ 60min, the holding time is 15 ~ 30min.
