Improve the performance of the petroleum resin

Aiming at the problems of high chromaticity, poor thermal stability and unsatisfactory tackifying effect of petroleum resin in China, this paper puts forward the scheme of using isopentene and styrene to modify: First, by adding isopentene (2-methyl- 1-butene and 2-methyl-2-butene), the molecular weight of the petroleum resin was controlled by the chain transfer of 2-methyl-1-butene and 2-methyl-2-butene. Size and distribution, so that the lower the petroleum resin wax spray point, so that the petroleum resin and rubber particles between the compatibility improved; Second, in the polymerization process by adding styrene and methyl styrene to improve the polarity of petroleum resin and reduce the petroleum resin so as to optimize the polymerization process conditions of the synthetic petroleum resin. After adding styrene and methylstyrene, the softening point of the petroleum resin is minimized, so that the resin hue is at the forefront, and the performance of the petroleum resin is improved as much as possible.
With the continuous development of the world economy, domestic and foreign markets for C5 petroleum resin performance requirements are getting higher and higher, especially high softening point, low-color between the demand for petroleum resin pentadiene increasing, inter-pentadiene petroleum resin production process is also constantly improving. In this paper, we firstly optimized the polymerization conditions of pentadiene and got the high softening point and low color of the petroleum resin, so as to prepare for the development of the modified resin.
